We're learning more about the 17 people whose deaths are blamed on Florence. Six of those people were killed in South Carolina and the other eleven in North Carolina.

The victims include a three-month-old baby who died when a tree fell on a mobile home in Gaston county, NC.
Flood waters have cut off the coastal city of Wilmington from the rest of North Carolina. Wilmington's rainfall total for the year is higher than it's been for more than a century. @davidbegnaud is in Castle Hayne, just outside Wilmington, because he can't get in.
Thousands of flood victims in other areas are having trouble getting food, water, and other necessities. People waited for hours in Jacksonville, North Carolina to get fuel, hot meals and snacks yesterday. Many businesses are rationing their supplies and only accepting cash.
