Look at this timeline. I mentioned earlier that a top staffer for Sen Hatch @mattdizwhitlock erased his tweet telling people to watch out for the good Whelan had coming. He now denies knowing any details of what Whelan had (see his TL). So what about the erased tweet?
2/ Yesterday morning Whalen tweeted this
3/ @mattdizwhitlock tweeted it out and told people to keep an eye out. Some poking around makes it quite clear that he deleted the tweet right as the shit was hitting the fan about Whelan’s tweet. Why do that?
4/ Whelan ended his mega thread at 6:18. This tweet shows that at 8:31 @mattdizwhitlock’s tweet was still up. 
5/ alas by 9:00 it was taken down.
6/ Really simple point. Why did @mattdizwhitlock erase that tweet if not for the fact that within an hour or two it was clear that Whelan’s conspiracy theory was both nuts and deeply damaging to Kavanaugh and he wanted to remove any evidence that he and his boss had ...
