Others have noted. But remember. We already knew that Manafort owed millions to Deripaska, oligarch tight w Putin. Manafort told Kilimnik to offer Deripaska campaign briefings as a way to maybe work off some of the debt or at least get some breathing room over the debt.
2/ Now we learn that Manafort shared polling data with Kilimnik. Why? To use in Ukraine? Please. Polling data can mean a vast range of things. In theory it could be as simple as horse race toplines. But that’s unlikely. How much more we don’t know.
3/ But we already know that Manafort was using Kilimnik as a go between to offer campaign info to Deripaska, the oligarch he owed 20 mill to. Not remotely a stretch to think that’s right where this “polling data” went.
