I have been a broadcaster for 10 years and in those ten years, I have grown to love what I do and who I have become while doing it.

Seven of those years have been spent with @NigeriaInfoFM and it's been an amazing journey. (thread)
As much as I love my @NigeriainfoFM family, it's time I move forward and take on more challenges professionally. I've always loved to stretch myself because I believe every ability and talent God has given me should be grown and used.
The media industry is a large and diverse space and I'm excited to explore every nook and cranny. I can't wait to share my next step on this journey with you.
I'm super grateful to @NigeriaInfoFM for the platform and the opportunity to express my self and I appreciate everyone who accepted me, accepted my shows and tuned in on every belt I hosted. You're amazing.

The thing about this job, it feels like anybody can do it. Truth is, anybody can attempt it. But to really do it & excel at it, you not only get properly trained for it, you have to GROW into it. There are things LIFE has to teach you. Those lessons make you a matured broadcaster
I absolutely support young people trusted with platforms and thrust into the limelight. It's great for the future of the industry.

But with a huge platform comes a huge responsibility. Hubris has no place here.

The danger is when that platform stops them from learning.
With new media comes new audiences and new approach to the way we do our jobs. But no matter the medium, there are principles that remain the same. No matter what your personal broadcasting style is, the basics don't change.

Life shouldn’t be hard. If a job doesn’t fill you with joy, if it makes you feel sad, stressed, old, like you're missing out, seriously consider doing somehing else.

Love this thought. Especially since so much of post-Tolkien fantasy, especially commercial fantasy, strongly misreads Tolkien imo...
Just for example (and stealing this point from a good friend here), Tolkien tends to get used as a shorthand for "it all turns out all right, destiny is fulfilled, good guys win, and suffering is minimal"
