If you're going to change the world at scale, you need the best possible team around you. There can be no weak roles, and once the machine begins to move, getting people on board is nearly impossible.

Our problems today are too subtle for a single Steve Jobs to crack. Need teams
The @mattereum thing is built on a hypothesis about transdisciplinary research and complexity: that in a truly complex society, there are problems that no strictly hierarchical structure can address, because a single commander's viewpoint prevents the problem being solved.
We picked one of the baddest problems in the world: how to make law evolve at the speed of technology, not at the speed of cultural change.

Sounds impossible, right?

Well, we've got your legally enforceable smart contracts and smart property ready to go now, sir. It took a year
We need to scale @mattereum fast. It's imperative we get the next six teams started now that we have learned how to make the transdisciplinary methods work: geospatial contract maps, identity insurance, smart property standardisation, blockchain law systems integration, SEZs etc.
We aren't making a lot of noise about a lot of what is in our heads. There's a certain circumspection: we aren't young enough to be that confident. You get middle aged doubt.

But we have *nailed this* at a fundamental level. You're going to be using it for years. The real deal.
To get that entire mess of blockchain/smart contract projects to work, they're going to need legal rights to physical and contractual assets moved around on chain.

Nothing *really* works if there is a legal challenge. It's all a bit arm waving.

Hence slow migration. Until now.
But once you take the slack legal thinking out of the blockchain space (bye bye ICOs) and start acting like we expect this to actually move a trillion dollars of goods a year, things change. You tighten the ties to the real world. It looks like grown up crypto technology not toys
You know how shit the legal thinking in the blockchain space is. That's not just ICOs. It's why you can't buy a car for bitcoin.

I started finding better lawyers in 2015. I knew we had to fix the implemention of legal property rights in chain.

Well, we've done it. Product soon.
Soon people will be able to liquidly pour their property into smart contract containers with full legal support. We finally get to the age of fluidised commerce. Stuff flows in chain and thence into the B2B blockchain e-commerce environment.

That's what's coming: B2B internet.
We talk about 5% of global GDP tied up in crap like misfiled bills of lading or oddly numbered invoices. It could be twice that.

That's what blockchain is for. Bitcoin can fight the fiat monopolies. We are off to make global trade work smoothly in the interim. It needs done.
If you think about it like this, you can see the future. A little bit of 1990s crypto secured credit card transactions and gave us a trillion dollar industry and half the top 10 companies in the world.

Now we bring the rest of the crypto and transform all the other payment types
And that doesn't mean BTC or CBDC. It just says "more crypto == better payments."

Blockchain has been slow to start on this because we keep playing politics and visions, rather than nailing down who pays who did what?

You need a less romantic vision. Just fix global systems.
Blockchain is simply the part of the internet revolution that hits trade and financial systems. The internet came back, this time it brought its own money.

But the goal is to devour the global economy and replace it with the internet.

That's what blockchain is for. Perspective!
You pretty much just have to slam it home on your mind: 20 years from now everything is going to be digitized. Questions: who/when/how? You know the direction of travel, same as I do.

@mattereum is doing the next bit. It's a very easy to understand firm: transfer property online
