You know what amazes me is how you people forget.

1999 the Entire SW was AD we saw Tinubu and co hold sway

Fast Forward to 2003. The entire SW except Lagos went to the PDP
It was humiliating and the normal thing for Tinubu to have done was to move to the PDP but he didnt

Post 2003

Obasanjo held funds meant for lagos. We saw Tinubu find ways to keep the the state afloat until the supreme court decided otherwise.

2007 we saw the emergence of Fashola over Afikuyomi and Co. Fashola a largely unknown politician.

Fashola has been one of the best things that happened to Lagos. As he carried everyone along and put in place policy that saw Lagos change.

We got fashola largely because of the work Tinubu had done leading up to 2007

I will never be part of any political convo that would stiffle my voice or not allow me ask questions.

I am not a fan of Godfatherism and imposition politics

But i am fiercely a supporter of Loyalty

Leading up to 2015

I was a supporter of Supo Sashore as i believed he would consolidate on everything Fash waa able to achieve

The Party on whose platform you get elected to serve.

Propped up Ambode.

Fashola was bruised

But i didn't see a meltdown
I didnt see a presser
I didnt see a vindictive guy

Fashola held Ambode's hand and campaigned in every part of Lagos over his own Guy that lost the primaries.

With the Party Machinery Ambode defeated an Agbaje that had a Minister of Defence and Federal support and funds to become Governor

Today the same machinery says it doesnt want Ambode to run

Ambode feels its his right

Im not here to discuss the fallouts of what Ambode may have done or not done.

Because even me a citizen that pays tax.

His Govt increased land use charge and toll gate

So his policies didnt even make my life better in anyway.

Ambode ia now feeling slighted

But he fails to remember that the thing he is fighting against is what he benefited from in 2015. An unknown guy that became gov because of the same work that the APC and Tinubu put in on his behalf.

If ambode feels he has served the people of Lagos well and he can win a re election.

He can leave the party to another party to contest

And the people will ultimately decide who becomes governor in 2019

This talk of Ambode is not settling and is getting victimised is bullshit

The party has a right to give whoever is wants its ticket by a democratic process.

There is no law that says you must do 2 terms as Governor to be honest.

And there is a reason that politicians move btwn the APC and PDP

Its because of how entrenched they are in the minds of the people and the structures they both have.

There was a guy in mushin who this ambode debacle happened to

He decamped to Accord party and won

So id advise the Gov to do same. So the people will eventually have the final say as regards who becomes Gov

To the people saying Tinubu must fall

I laugh at all of u.

When he waa last man standing in 2003 you hailed him

When he gave u fashola in 2007 u hailed him

When his coalition dislodged Jonathan he was the master politician.

Today he is suddenly the devil

You may not like his politics but pls admire the work he has put in

Admire his loyalty to the ideals of party loyalty at a time when it didnt even make sense to do.

In these climes

Loyalty is political capital

Now Ambode remains Governor till 2019.

Which is the dangerous part

He is bruised
He has lost everything

If he goes nuclear he brings down everything the party has worked for since 1999..

The APC in lagos planned everything but didnt make plans of a Post Primary Ambode.

The person touted to be Asiwaju's successor is Fashola.

Fashola that could have helped Ambode was the first person Ambode rubbished

So pls allow these politicians sort themselves out. They shouldn't involve us.
