How many of us know/knew Kavanaugh had never tried a case in a regular court? He was a law clerk promoted to a Judge by Bush. (Who is now promoting his ascension to SCOTUS.) #ThisAintRight
/2 Out of law school, he law clerked for Walter King Stapleton of the 3rd District Court of Appeals. Stapleton actually wrote the majority opinion in PP v. Casey.
/3 Next, he was Ken Starr's primary assistant for one year during the Clinton investigation (where he hounded Vince Foster's family to the verge of nervous breakdown).
/4 He then law clerked for Anthony Kennedy for five years before he was appointed to the DC Appellate by Bush.
/5 I've read other background notes that state he was hand picked by Karl Rove straight out of law school as part of a "thirty year plan" for the GOP to take over the judiciary. This guy has been in the process of being groomed for SCOTUS since the '90s.
