It's #FianzaFriday--this week the Fianza Fund bonded out three more people. One of them is a father separated from his family for over four months. He is an amputee who also inexplicably neglected for over 40 days in the county jail.

This boot was gifted to him while still detained but he was NOT ALLOWED TO WEAR IT until he was released. The Fianza Fund rushed into high gear to post his $3500 bond the same day he received it from a judge.
Our amazing compañeras also worked hard this week to make sure our people were OK post-release, including buying travel tickets and navigating a housing emergency from across the country (our bondee was turned back from a shelter because ICE refuses to give people a photo ID).
However, we're receiving more requests than we can help with, and we're sadly having to turn some families down--just this week we had requests to pay a $10k, 15k and 20k bond that we do not have the 💰 to pay for. We need to keep our fund growing! ➡️ FianzaFund.org/donate
We need help to keep posting bonds. One new request is the first bond order given to an African detainee we've seen ALL YEAR at the El Paso ICE Processing Ctr. We would really like to post this bond but we need support! 💵💳💰 $15k to buy this person's freedom.
