Japan declines to attend a naval event in Jeju after repeated calls by SK not to arrive with its Rising Sun Flag symbolizing Imperial Japan. However the real reason why it chose not to attend is more intricate.

What happened is SK kept telling Japan's Embassy and Defense Minister that only the national flag should be flown. But Japan insisted it will come bearing the Rising Sun Flag. Then apparently SK NSA Chung and new Defense Minister Jung came up with a ploy

They leaked news that the lead vessel of the host country may switch to ROKS Dokdo, which is the largest SK navy vessel. Dokdo is an island but also the name of this LPH-class amphibious vessel with a platform that can launch helis, Ospreys and even VTOLs
What exactly does this "lead vessel" do in a ceremonial event like SK's International Fleet Review? Moon, naval officials & even civilians get on the lead vessels, go through ceremonial inspections of all incoming foreign vessels and is saluted by them

So that's the story behind the story which these xslated stories aren't conveying. SK invited these vessels and couldn't withdraw official invitations. When Japan refused to comply it chose to make it disappear. It's like waving a cross in front of Dracula

NK managed to succeed in having this new sequence reflected in the Panmunjom Declaration (4.27) and Singapore Joint Statement (6.12). That's why it keeps insisting that the US must "build trust": interminable banquets when Pompeo visits, peace gestures, ceremonial pronouncements

This is getting really frustrating so here I go with some reasons why this collab is problematic and potentially detrimental to the boys' career in Korea. I'm not going to use their group name and I will be censoring the man in question because I don't want outsiders to find it.
Ak*mot* Y*sushi is a famous songwriter/lyricist who is famous for producing Japanese girl groups like Ony*nko C*ub and AK*4*. He has a history of writing very sexist, misogynistic, female objectifying lyrics that also sexualize/fetishize young girls.
For example: his song See-ra-fuku-wo-nugasanaide (or, Don't take my Sailor Clothes Off), this is a capture of the english translation from a third party site. Many people are accusing K-Army of false translations so I google searched the lyrics and here they are:

How are there 12 individuals in the Alexandria, Virginia area (just outside of D.C.) who had never heard of Paul Manafort?

More remarkable efforts by Métis Nation of the Rising Sun [sic], which was founded by 9 hunters in 2006 to oppose a Mi'kmaw territorial project. 2 weeks ago in court they claimed that their "Métis Nation" has existed for over 10,000 years!!
