It is still the same political illiteracy of hoping for a messiah based on strong man theory. Rather than opine like the same sub-literate you criticized, focus your attention on demanding for Strong institutions that enable the people hold their leaders to account. #No2Lifeless
Power belongs to the people not those elected by the people to serve them. Stop venerating politicians. They are as good as the system that holds them to account. Several bills that can impact the lives of the people were rejected by the President, but you’ll blame the NASS.
Political illiterates are the major problems of Nigeria not really the corrupt politicians. If we combine the activism and advocacy spirit together accountably, we can build strong institutions and make it impossible for a handful to foist their personal desires on the collective
There’s nothing like incorruptible. It’s an utopian situation that’s rare within a burgeoning polity like ours after many damaging years of military interregnum cum identity politics of hate currently feeding on the brains of most youth. Stop the messiah hunt. Rise higher.
Just look at this and know who the real problem is:

- Presidential Decision to decline assent to The Chartered Institute of Entrepreneurship (Establishment) Bill, 2018;

- Presidential Decision to decline assent to The National Agricultural Seeds Council Bill, 2018;
- Presidential Decision to decline assent to The National Institute of Hospitality and Tourism (Establishment) Bill, 2018;

- Presidential Decision to decline assent to The National Research and Innovation Council (Establishment) Bill, 2017;
- Presidential decision to decline assent to The Electoral (Amendment) Bill, 2018;

- Presidential Decision to decline assent to The Stamp Duties (Amendment) Bill, 2018; and

- Declined assent to The Petroleum Industry Governance Bill, 2018.
There are many more. The Presidency also Declined assent to five constitution of The Federal Republic Of Nigeria, 1999 (Fourth Alteration) Amendment Bills Passed by The National Assembly (Namely, Bills No. 8, No. 15, No. 22, No. 24 And No. 28;
There are many loonies out there who in their bid to earn their keep would want to deceive those who are too tired to task their brains. Let me take Petroleum Industry Governance Bill for instance. The President won’t pass it because it cuts down his powers? 🤔
In the words of a clown on this thread, the content of the Bills the president rejected shows NASS’ selfishness. So passing PIGB benefits NASS or Nigerians? Will GMB be President & Petroleum Minister beyond 2019?! Where are these children from?! 🤓
