A lot of talk about Lambda School today, and most of it I'll ignore.

One I'm going to respond to - that Lambda School is "creaming" - removing the best students from other schools and locking them into ISAs.

This is a tweetstorm full of student stories, so buckle up.
J is a single father, high school dropout with two kids (1.6 GPA), had been working in a warehouse for four years. We noticed in our intro courses he was doing well at programming, and decided to invest.

He attended Lambda, now makes software for warehouses, making $80k+/yr
S had to drop out of school when she couldn't afford the payments on her archaeology degree. She was living in a car when she applied to Lambda School.

She was also hired at an $80k rate.

There are more than 10x the students starting Lambda School today as 18 months ago.

NPS is higher across the board, student skill is higher across the board, and it goes off without a hitch.

Hats off to the Lambda growth, admissions and student success teams.
NPS schoolwide for Lambda School is in the high 60s. We're working on getting it to the mid/high 70s right now.

1. Wah! Wah! Wah! The Portland Police union are babies. They claim police can't stop violent white-supremacist thugs from terrorizing the city bc their fee-fees are hurt. Look at the statement below. THREAD.
Here's the background. Portland has an active anarchist scene. Once or twice a year a demo might lead to broken store windows, a trash can on fire. It's like a sports game celebration that went off the rails w/o the drunks or fistfights. In other words, no big deal.
But in 2017, following Trump's victory, "Patriot Prayer," a group of white-supremacist friendly criminals and street brawlers started holding "free speech" protests in Portland. But they have nothing to do w/ free speech. It's all about violence and attacking the Left.

I was working as a Supply Chain Officer in Lagos, I was in charge of expediting procurement & also following up on vendors.

One of our major suppliers had issues with her supply & she came to complain, she met me & I helped solve the issue.

I opened it to check & there was N10,000 inside it, I smiled - kept the envelope back on the table & kept working.

I heard a Nokia phone ring, I looked closer & found out it was beside the envelope. I picked it up & answered the call & I heard a female voice

"This is Lady B" she said, "oh, hi Lady B" I reacted - she confirmed she left the envelope when I asked her just to be sure;
