OK, I've been doing a bit more digging on @stuartrobertmp , you might want to listen up to this @ScottMorrisonMP

Late yesterday, Friday 12 Oct 2018, Stu said he had repaid $37,975.00 regarding his internet expenditure charged to the taxpayer for home internet.

I decided to double-check Stu's figures, because quite frankly, I wouldn't trust Stu as far as I could throw him and I'm not real confident in the Finance Dept either, just quietly @MathiasCormann.

Stu was elected in 2007, MP for Fadden, QLD. He assumed office on 24 November 2007.

Robert served in both Abbott & Turnbull's Ministries, holding various portfolios including Minister for Human Services. Robert is currently Assistant Treasurer in the Morrison Ministry.

During his time as Minister for Human Services, Robert said this:
"The government says to those: you are not just cheating and stealing from the government; you are stealing from your neighbour; you are stealing from those genuinely in need. So today the government announced the

"...establishment of Taskforce Integrity, which will ensure taxpayers' money only goes to those who genuinely need a helping hand. Taskforce Integrity is the largest welfare taskforce ever initiated by government. It is led by the Department of Human Services. Forty-seven...."

That's right, Robert announced Taskforce Integrity, at a cost of $47 million to track down people cheating the govt.

Taskforce Fucking Integrity! 🤣You can't write this shit.

Feb 4 2016: Vice reported 'Set up in August 2015, Taskforce Integrity has uncovered more than $2 million in fraud, as the Daily Telegraph is reporting."

So, in just under a year Taskforce Integrity had recouped $2 million from their $47 million investment.

Feb 4 2016: Robert was quoted in Business Insider saying "“While most people receiving welfare payments are honest and do the right thing, there is a small segment of the community who still think it is okay to cheat the system,” Mr Robert said in a statement on Wednesday."

While he was saying all this, he was claiming extraordinarily high internet expenses for his Gold Coast home.

I have calculated all his residential expenses claims from 11 Dec 2008 - 30 Jun 2018.

Stu claimed $62,814.52 in total during that time for his Gold Coast home.

So, I thought what are other politicians spending on their home internet?🤔

Many don't even claim their residential internet expenses at all. 👍

I compared Stuart Robert's home internet claims to Scott Morrison's and Alex Hawke's expenses claims.

Residential Internet Claims for the period Jan 2017 - Jun 2018 their Totals were:
Alex Hawke $2243.16
Scott Morrison $0 (I'll give Scott a ⭐️)
Stuart Robert $28487.23

Alex Hawke's claims averaging about $400.00 per quarter (or about $1,600 pa.) seem fair and reasonable.

So, according to my calculations Stu still owes a bit more coin to the taxpayer.

$62814.52 - $37,975.00 = $24,839.52

Allowing an average of $400.00 per quarter for residential internet from Jan 2008 - Jun 2018 (as in Hawke's case) that comes to $16,800.00

$24,839.52 -$16800.00 = $8039.52

Minister for Finance @MathiasCormann I reckon @stuartrobertmp still owes the taxpayer $8039.52.

Mathias, would you be a dear & discuss what I've raised here with @barriecassidy on #insiders on Sunday morning. I'd be much obliged if you did, perhaps mention it to Snott & Stu too

And, please correct me if I'm wrong, I'm happy for you to check my figures.
