On October 17, 2017, Bloomberg reported that Kushner Cos. was at risk of “losing control of” 666 5th Avenue.
Eight days later, Jared Kushner, Dina Powell and Jason Greenblatt boarded a commercial flight to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

On October 25th, Russia Direct Investment Fund CEO Kirill Dmitriev—in Riyadh for the Future Investment Initiative conference—met with Kushner’s friend, Mohammad bin Salman.
The Daily Mail reported that during his visit to Riyadh, Kushner provided intel regarding individuals disloyal to the Crown Prince, which may have been used to justify the “corruption”-related arrests that began one week after Kushner’s visit.
It was also reported that Kushner and the Crown Prince spent several late nights “swapping stories and planning strategy.” If Kushner arrived early on the 26th and departed on the 28th, he spent each night meeting with the Crown Prince.
We know that Jason Greenblatt traveled to Jordan from Riyadh. Where was Dina Powell during Kushner’s meetings with the Crown Prince? Would the answer have anything to do with her recent withdrawal from consideration for the UN Ambassador appointment?
Kirill Dmitriev was present at the Seychelles meeting that’s suspected as having been part of an effort to establish a “back channel” for communications between the Trump administration and Russian officials.
The Crown Prince met with both Dmitriev and Kushner between October 25-26. If Dmitriev attended FII through October 26, it would’ve been possible for Kushner and Dmitriev to meet, as well.
Footnote: No responses were received.
Powell, Kushner, and Greenblatt had met with the Crown Prince two months before their October visit to Riyadh.
Oh, yeah—there’s also this:
As of yesterday, Dina Powell still planned to attend next week’s Future Investment Initiative conference in Riyadh on behalf of Goldman Sachs.
