Not a good day on Eurostar...chaos at St Pancras over changed train, delays in Kent due to a blocked tunnel, now apparently there's nobody at Calais Station to despatch the train... What happens at Lille?
The answer to what happens at Lille, since you all so kindly joined the guessing game, is technical problems with the train. To be fair the scheduled stop at Ashford didn't cause a problem, as that stop was skipped...
Ah, the fields and concrete walls of Belgium, we couldn't complete this sort of journey without another breakdown to spend more time with you...

A win for the Conservative anti no-deal party. Now how do the Conservative no-deal party react knowing that in the event of rejecting the PM's deal the numbers may exist to withdraw Article 50?
The instant judgement that this defeat is bad for the PM is I think wrong.

Most or all of the rebels today will vote for her deal, she now has a clear threat to use against ERG rebels - this deal or no Brexit.
fwiw I would say the chances of no-deal Brexit have now crashed and the chances of the PM's deal or similar gone up to perhaps 50%. But the chances of no-Brexit are also strengthening, given the PM's ability to be her own worst enemy

Am bored of reading the conventional wisdom that the EU could not renegotiate Brexit, and to make this case will borrow the wisdom of one of our most experienced MEPs @RCorbettMEP - this is how it COULD happen (and why it probably won't)
There is no more important Brexit job for MPs in the coming two months than to build consensus - something those more astute than the PM realised some time ago. Future relationship talks with a split Parliament could not succeed.

The Government may have informally asked the EU about an Article 50 Extension - we presume not for any serious reason (no-deal prep, election, referendum) but in the vague hope this somehow helps the PM's deal pass Parliament
Under three months from leaving the EU by law and we have a Government without a plan.
It is not clear that the UK Government has learned anything about negotiating with the EU over the past two and a half years

Good morning. Today seems like a good day to tell you about my conversation with a brexiter, that I had a few weeks ago.
That day I was told to my face that #brexit means they can finally switch out all those EU migrants with better foreigners. /1
This person knew that I am one of "all those EU migrants". And while I've been told way too many times to count that I should "go home" or "go back where you came from", being told that I can and indeed will be "switched out" for something better was a new one to me. /2
There has been a shift, a reframing going on for a while. Back in the early #brexit days, any foreigner was bad. Then followed the phase of bad EU migrants (e.g. "those Poles! Those Bulgarians!"...) and good ones ("we don't mean you!, You'll be fine"). /3

1. THE HAND HOLDING THREAD

Before we start let's be clear. The exit polls will 100% scream that the Dems are going to win 435 house seats and win all 30+ Senate seats as well as take over ever state governor and state legislative body.

IGNORE THEM.

They are propaganda.
2. As I've said for months turnout will determine the outcome today. All those polls?

They no longer matter.

Early voting data?

Most states will post the EV first so in many states like NC it will appear the D's are winning. Ignore the early returns in those states.
3. Important to remember:

All those pundits, talking heads, pollsters, and fake media people know as much as you. Hell in many instances, they know less because they live in a bubble.

Ignore them.

Turnout will determine this election and as of know there is no way to know.

Good morning, Twitter Family!

Happy July 1st! When I started to tweet this, I was going to say, "Its like the Wednesday of the Year." And go into a story of how I prayed for a message from God but didnt get one.

That was 40 minutes ago because I definitely got a message. Lol
July is going to be something else for me. I've been getting blessed with major realizations since my phone died on Father's Day and I cut my hair off in bit of a manic fit (more on that later).

So...

I have decided to go ahead & be obedient to Spirit & share today's message.
I don't have a message title but I feel like if I did, it would be "And God saw that it was (very) good."

Sidenote: I know Beyoncé says "thank you" in this gif; I used it because she looks so pleased while nodding. 😊

Good evening folks!

First, thank you for all the RT, likes, and kind comments on my thread yesterday. It was a quick look at my life growing up.

For anyone curious, I reconnected with my bio family when I was 26. It was incredibly awkward at first.
I experienced huge culture shock. I grew up in Alberta and had never experienced the culture, climate or the traditional food.

I'll never forget my first meal at my Nanuk's. It was a caribou head. It was baked and served in front of me. I had no idea what to think.
I wasn't sure if this was a practicle joke, or if they were seriously wanting me to eat this. It wasn't until my 5 year old niece said "Oh! Caribou head!" and dug in without any qualms or questions. My pride took over. If a 5 year old girl could eat this, so could I.
