Beloveds. I know I say this every time I watch a movie for @TheReducerPod but I have now genuinely reached, at long lost, the worst movie I have ever seen. Dangerous Game starring Callum Best and russian mobster [checks notes] Darren Day.
I am literally a worse person for having watched this film. It has stained my soul.
Premier league centre-forward Callum Best does armed robberies to help his mate pay off gambling debts, even though he's a nationally famous footballer and therefore should have either the credit or collateral to pay it off himself.
In it, Best says he's paid 5k a week, which would be about right for a hotshot premier league centre forward circa 1998.
The film is set now.
The armed robberies only go so far, so they decide to up the ante and rob.... a "really plush trainer shop", because they are ignorant of even the most basic grasp on the true value of inventory.
They do all this because the debts in question are owed to a gang of Russian mobsters, who appear to have gotten their accents as part of a Tesco meal deal. Their leader is, sigh, 90s TV presenter and former professional love rat Darren Day.
During an interrogation of our star, Darren goes on a spirited - ahem - rant about vodka. Sorry, wodka. He laahves wodka, ees soo seemple. This scene is also BIZARRELY foregrounded with shots of Zing Vodka, the not-at-all-a-tax-dodge luxury Vodka brand, once headed by Chris Brown
I'm just imagining the meeting in some LA where they thought this, the most brazen bit of product placement I have ever seen in my entire life, in the middle of one of the worst films ever made, would be a winner for a [checks notes] now sadly defunct Vodka brand. 
Forty minutes later Best's mate asks him "what are you drinking?" and he says "this vodka, gained a bit of a taste for it the last two weeks". My arse is winking so hard I'm levitating.
