2/ DHS official tells CNN that “in FY 18, CBP apprehended 17,256 criminals, 1,019 gang members, and 3,028 special interest aliens from countries such as Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nigeria, and Somalia...”
3/ Which doesn’t prove that criminals and unknown Middle Easterners are in caravan. Plus those countries are South Asian and African — not Middle Eastern.

4/ Additionally, DHS official said: “CBP prevented 10 known or suspected terrorists from traveling to or entering the United States every day in fiscal year 2017.”

Just in: WH says administration has “had CBP Enforcement Actions against aliens from the following ‘Special Interest Aliens’ countries for FY18.” (My addition: this is still not about the caravan.)
