There's an article circulating about me that I want to address briefly. It suggests that because one division of my company has a contract with the UAE my views on issues pertaining to the Middle East have somehow been compromised. Let me say just a couple things...
First, read what I have written. Listen to what I have said on the air. Listen to what we cover and who we have on at #DeepStateRadio. Draw your own conclusions about our independence. If you think we have pulled a single punch, let me know. We, and I, have not.
Second, we don't lobby. We don't do politics. My company is doing work on events in the areas of culture and the arts, women's empowerment, tolerance and inclusion and science and technology. We're doing events in these areas--advancing what we see as positive initiatives.
Finally, we are transparent about this and always have been. That's the reason we filed with FARA. That's the reason we discussed it on the air on #DeepStateRadio last week. And I would happily have discussed it with the reporter for the article in question had he called me.
