Azeez came out with 9 As in his #SSCE and he wanted to be a Doctor. Smart, intelligent and well bred from a humble home. However this hope was truncated at the University of Ibadan, he was offered #Zoology.

"Just start with that", said the father.

Azeez set another target for himself, "I must jam this JAMB again and this time, I will not show mercy", he said as he promised his father that he must be a Doctor.

He believed himself, he knew he could do it.

He walked into JAMB hall the following year, very confident like

At the exams hall, he did due diligence to all the questions, he had a better understanding off all the twist of JAMB questions and he had no doubt that he would make it.

"Owo ti te JAMB", he told his elder brother at Mellamby Hall

Azeez was already in YR 2 at UI, he never took #Zoology seriously because he knew he would leave someday and begin another new journey in #MedSurgery.

JAMB result was released, he scored high but as usual, he waited for admission letter.

He waited.......

At some point, he was not comfortable, he called the father, "Pls be on the lookout for my admission letter, can't wait to keep my promises to you"

The father knew the admission letter will come if indeed the school offered him an admission.

He waited...

Indeed, the letter came eventually and he was offered admissions into #MedSurgery, UNILAG.

The father sent in his immediate younger brother. He left an instruction "Go and give this letter to Azeez and tell him to proceed to UNILAG immediately"

Azeez got to UNILAG, same day he received his admission letter.

He walked into the admission officer's office with a smile.

"Do you think we will come and beg you in your house to become a doctor, admissions has been concluded" said the admission officer

Azeez, neither returned back to U.I nor dropped info of his whereabout to the family.

He was soo furious that nothing matters to him anymore. He went straight to his friend who lives in Surulere.

TJ was his classmate back in Unity School.

"I will never go back to school again", he told TJ after spending 3days

"My son, you are still young, go and conclude your Zoology. You can always do JAMB again or you go in as DIRECTENTRY stds", father said to him on the phone.

Azeez went back to UI, thinking

Azeez finished his Zoology at U.I and as luck would have it, the Late Agagu, who was his guardian back in U.I and a political godson to his father, was made the Aviation Minister.

Azeez was offered a job at the MMA as an AVSEC.

He started a new life

Few years down the line, #BirdStrike became an issue all over the world and ICAO gave an express request to all the countries with international routes must send delegates to US and that these representatives MUST have read a course related to Birds/Animals.

Behold, they scouted the whole FAAN, they were just 5 in number. In fact, the last guy who joined them outside FAAN was his classmate back in U.I, who was lucky to have done his M.Sc in UNILAG as at then.

Till date, my guy heads the Wildlife Control #Dept in FAAN.
