2/ i was in equity and private placement before crypto. I left that world for crypto. i have an MBA. I raised millions upon millions of dollars for public companies in private placement memorandums (warrants, options, etc...).
3/ CT is filled with crypto moonbois who came into trading through crypto. There is nothing wrong with that. In fact if you are still here after a year of bear (or youre 2nd bear) you have learned a life skill (TA) that you can rarely find in a college curriculum
4/ The market value of equities and bonds combined is roughly $70 trillion. #Crypto is 200b. That is 0.29% compared to bonds+equities. So when the indices dip, youre father and youre financial advisor arent selling $btc to buy the dip, nor are you. Crypto is a drop in an ocean
5/ However you have to watch Asia. They are historically high margin players in both equities and crypto. They will cash out whatever to meet margin calls and the maintenance margin, which for those of you dont know, doesnt exist on @BitMEXdotcom instead arthur steals your money
6/ With that said, IF the S&P and Dow keep dipping, and $btc rises, we will have the greatest bull yet. This will finally show that the population is sick of inflationary/recessionary tactics by the fed IE monetary policy, especially quantitative easing
7/Remember, when economies contract via int rates rising, it is more costly to borrow money, and therefore companies cannot invest in capital expansion. G-T=(S-I)+(N-X) is affected which affects GDP=C+I+G+NX
8/ If the market crashes, ppl WILL lose jobs again, and being that the last crash was so recent (10 years and barely recovered), this could affect the public perception for non govt controlled assets ie #btc
9/ tl;dr the next 12-18 months for crypto will be huge. I anticipate the mainstream adoption of $btc as an alternative investment, allowing youre father and mother to invest in it as an alternative asset to limit traditional exposure, say 5% conservatively.-7
10/ At 5%-7 of the NAV, that puts crypto at 3.5-5 trillion dollar asset class. Look at your folio now, invest in solid projects at the bottom (now) and imagine when the market goes 10-20x from here. Crypto til i DIE
