I think it's time to address the false flag theory and regrettably I fear I'll do it. First, of course it's a theory. As is possibility these are random, a disgruntled employee of the party, or whatever else. 1/
I'll put the theory in its best light: that someone who wanted to stir up trouble for the WH did this (the theory that it's Dem party organized is up there with pizzagate.) The best evidence for the theory of left wing terror is the bombs, none of them, went off. 2/
That will, with absolute certainness, be a piece of evidence in this investigation. Did someone want to make noise and no deaths and that someone is aligned with a political sentiment?. 3/
So it's a theory. But pro Trump forces are not saying that nor are they balancing against the weight of evidence against this theory. 4/
If you are an investigator the most important question is whether the bombs failed or whether they never were constructed to succeed. When we have that answer then the balance could change. 5/
And if you are an investigator, it would be malpractice not to lead with a theory of the case that leads to a culprit who doesn't like Dems or CNN or Soros. (My position today). If evidence steers elsewhere then it will. 6/
But the false flag and hoax folks won't allow for that and so they surround themselves with crazy conspiracies. 7/
Anyway, all this would seem less caustic if we had confidence in the openness of our leadership at WH to not view it through the lens of Trump. That is too much to ask. 8/8
