EPA moves to extend for at least two more years "registration" of controversial herbicide called dicamba, which is used with GMO seeds and has been been blamed for damaging neighboring soybean crops that are not GMO.

At the external borders of CU (e.g., Poland-Ukraine border), EU tariffs are charged to goods entering CU, after which those goods move freely within CU.

@NC_CyberLaw @ms_peaceweaver @BorderIrish SM is similar, except its for non-tariff barriers like, e.g., whether toys meet safety regulations. All states within SM have "harmonized" (not necessarily identical) regs. Goods meeting regs in one state can be sold in any SM state. Goods entering SM must be checked.

I've made no secret of the fact that I see limited value in interviewing a reflexive liar but as long as people are doing it, I am going to wring every drop of meaning out of them that I can.

For those who haven't followed me long and don't know what I actually do here, I'm *not* a fact checker. That takes skills and resources I don't have. What I have is a very particular set of skills, skills honed over a long career of picking words apart and putting them together.

First principles: I think we must start by recognizing that Hitler's model was "seize power by whatever means are available and necessary". The fascist will to power is not about checking off specific items on a list but doing whatever is necessary to check off the final items.
