There are no parrallels.
There is no precedent.

At least not here.

Not in Anerica.

We have, in the past, overused the notion that whatever election was ahead of us was the most consequential election in history.

We knew nothing.
We were children.

There was only one time that was true, and that was in 2016.

Two years ago we witnessed the catastrophic failure of our entire system.

Yes, the system failed, the media failed, social media failed, corporate America failed, and so did we, we failed.

From my vantage point, the one that failed the least is the one who is blamed the most, @HillaryClinton.

And he we are.

It is not a good place.

Every single day Donald Trump wakes up he makes the conscious decision to continue to divide as a nation.

And divided we are.

That those divisions were always here is self-evident. Trump did not make this, but he did something almost as bad.

He encouaged us to forget our responsibilty to the social contract that has held us together as a nation for 242 years.

In absence of that contract, one which guides us to civility, mutual respect, fsirness, and a recognition of our shared interests and humanity, chaos is the natural order of things.

Trump loves chaos. Men like him and ideas like his thrive in chaos.
