Andhra Pradesh CM Shri Chandrababu Naidu (CBN) and Rahul Gandhi (RG) in one frame photo and agreeing to go as a coalition for upcoming polls is something unbelievable and indigestible for at least couple of generations of Telugus. (1/n) 
CBN’s party TDP that ruled the Telugu states for about a quarter century is the last bastion of purest anti-congress platform in Indian politics. In 1985 TDP is the main opposition party in Lok Sabha to Rajiv Gandhi. (2/n)
Late Shri NTR brought both CPM & BJP on same platform of anti-congress. I remember the stage where NTR, ABV and Jyoti Basu addressed from Vijayawada. Even when UF govt formed with support from Left and Congress, CBN was the kingmaker of the coalition. (3/n)
When Seetaram Kesri pulled the Deva Gowda govt, G.K Moopnar (Tamil Manila Cong) was front runner. CBN personally ensured that I.K.Gujral is selected over Moopnar. (4/n)
The reason was Moopnar is having more congress links and as he was a recent exit from congress. That was the level of distance maintained from congress by TDP. (5/n)
Remember it was Akali Dal (another trusted anti-congress party) that negotiated between Modi and CBN for 2014 seat adjustments. (6/n)

CBN himself had an image of a reformist and digitization icon with his trips to Davos and gadget carrying politician. Keeping aside actuals, my generation had seen him as someone bringing IT and industrialization and structure to governance (8/n)

CBN’s party TDP tying up with congress in Telangana is of no point as they don’t add any value to Telangana politics in the current day politics. In CBN’s home state of AP, congress is non-existent. (10/n)

Million dollar question is why CBN in this league. The answer lies in mercantile networks that represent his party TDP, Congress and Sharad Pawar’s NCP. Never in the history are these crony networks impacted. (16/n)
