Dear @channel4news, it's one thing not crediting me or @ObserverUK - ever -for the months & months of work we handed over to you. But @arron_banks is going to be VERY disappointed that you just broadcasted his tweet & whitewashed me from the "grand data conspiracy" too...
C'mon now, @Channel4News. Wiping crazy @carolecadwalla from history is one thing. But @ObserverUK has underpinned every single thing you've done on this story & the investigation that you called "unprecedented in time, scale & complexity" which led your bulletin with this evening

I've seen C4's Brexit: An Uncivil War...& it's a brilliant, compelling drama. James Graham, the writer, captures the campaign's dark toxic heart & Cumberbatch delivers a stand-out performance. But it also whitewashes the deeply serious criminal offences we know were committed..

This is why it matters, Tony Hall. @afneil's casual misogyny opened a door for others. It gave them permission to abuse me & other women and a language to do it in. The BBC by failing to act implicitly endorsed it. And now, with this erroneous statement you've compounded it again

One thing I will be paying attention to as far as Democratic 2020 presidential contenders go is what tone they struck in the immediate wake of Donald Trump's election. Here was Elizabeth Warren's position on 11/9/2016: fortune.com/2016/11/09/eli…
Warren originally offered to "put aside [her] differences" with Trump and work with him. But we knew Trump was a white supremacist who displayed many signs he would not preside over a normal presidency.
My standards are going to be very high for this primary. I will be looking for Democratic candidates who were committed to opposing Trump from the moment it was clear he would be President.

My company was raided. It should have been a straightforward matter. But the #MetPolice & #LBRUT forgot to seize my computer & came back to do a 2nd raid. The search warrant didn't permit a second entry, however, #LBRUT entered unlawfully

Complaints were then made to my MP #VinceCable. He liaised with the #Metpolice & #LBRUT. And then weeks later, the search warrant was completely changed & was passed off as the search warrant executed on the day of the raids.

I did something similar to this 5 years ago, in anticipation of EC & @theroots' Wise Up Ghost LP, on tumblr.

(You can still find all those posts if you look, although a lot of the YouTube links etc are now dead ends. It was 40 Days Of EC then, so for 2018 I'm upping it to 45.)
Mostly I will be going chronologically from the early years right up to the present, but it feels right to start out with Costello's 2002 song, "45."

Jimin wouldn’t allow himself to be trapped on his shift for any longer than necessary.

“Go, go,” Taehyung hurried, taking Jimin’s apron to let him slip out from behind the counter more quickly. Jimin decided he could get the grounds out from under his nails at home.
This morning had been absolute hell. Two girls ordered seven drinks, Jimin made them all only for them to say they were supposed to be with almond milk.

‘Oh I’m so sorry,’ was he all he had legally been allowed to say at the time, while his mind had far more colorful ideas.
With Jimin officially clocked out, he slumped on the customer side of the now empty service counter, looking to his friend with tired eyes.

“You wanna grab dinner later?”
“I can’t, remem—?
“Ah, right...”

Jimin’s disappointment vanished as Taehyung suddenly smiled to himself.
