The TPers FRANTICALLY repeatedly fundraised cuz the price kept going up. "Oh, we're so afraid, oh the Dems will hurt us, oh we'll never work after this gets out, oh maybe we shouldn't." Eventually a deal was struck, money handed over... and the "African Press Bureau" DISAPPEARED.
There is absolutely no telling how much they got away with, but it was definitely something. They had the TPers hook, line and sinker. And, like most victims of scams, the shame of having Got Got got the story buried, fast.
