@ThomasKlineMD The whole"crisis" is not because of the meds people get from their doctors. It's because of the illegal drugs pouring in from our southern border, as well as what's being shipped in from other countries.We must put a stop to it, and stop blaming doctors and patients!
@ThomasKlineMD However, it's easier for politicians to crackdown on what they can easily control, all for the sake of APPEARING to do something about the addiction crisis we've created by not securing our borders. Meanwhile, chronic pain patients suffer for the sins of others, and no one cares.
@ThomasKlineMD Meanwhile, people are literally dying from their suffering, as many will choose to end their life, rather than continue to spend a lifetime suffering with incurable pain. Those who don't choose die will get sicker from the stress their bodies are under from all the pain.
@ThomasKlineMD It's inhumane the way chronic pain patients are now being treated. People would be more concerned if animals were treated the same way chronic pain patients are, and I can just see the animal rights protests and commercials to show the suffering. No such thing will happen for us.
@ThomasKlineMD Yes, I agree. For every package they do find, there are 10 to 20 they didn't (at least that's what I recall being said). I'll bet that estimate is MUCH higher than they can even comprehend.
@ThomasKlineMD So, not only do we have illegal drugs pouring through our borders, it's being shipped here from MANY other countries ( not just China). No one wants to talk about that though, they'd rather wage war on suffering patients and their doctors.
@ThomasKlineMD Chronic pain patients dont abuse their meds b/c they know if they do their meds will no longer work for pain control, and they'll suffer. People who are using pain meds to fulfill their drug craving, will simply move on to heroin and others as the supply from doctors is removed.
