I was born and brought up in Luggere, Jimeta, Adamawa State, attend Primary and Secondary School there, spend most of the 90s knowing @Atiku as the undisputed political figure, my choice for President would have been @atiku, but alas, I go with @MBuhari for 2019

Here is why:
In the early 1990s, there was a build up by different interest group for urging a return of Nigeria to democracy. As the momentum generate international interest, the government of the then Gen. Babangida decided to plan on how to retain control should the move became successful.
Part of the move was the establishment of patronage-driven policies, e.g many govt agencies, the creation of more states to appeal to political interest & putting these institutions under political cronies. Those institutions eventually, became the drain pipes of Nigeria's wealth
With the coming of democracy in 1999, the @OfficialPDPNig inherited these institutions and further extend it to accommodate a much larger political interest group. Appointment into those agencies became a political bargain for "Returns on Investment" to political leaders.
The 'Returns on Investment" is what we see, when after winning an election, various interest groups will lobby for important positions, based on hierarchy, from a juicier position to less juicy positions depending on the level political leaders’ 'investment' to establish power.
These are the reasons why @OfficialPDPNig, after 16 years in power & getting so much money from Nigeria's commonwealth, has little to show in terms of building a country of hope for the future. Most of the monies were siphoned through juicy agencies to political principals.
Continuing to pursue that path means the more the money the country generates, the more the expanded the pocket of the political principals & their cronies, the worst the be the future of the youth of Nigeria, few of whom are living from their parents proceed from patronage.
Some of the children of those in political patronage class succeeded in getting the best education etc. This to me, contributes to the human capital asset of the nation, but the patronage system denies most of them an opportunity to utilize their talent and independently grow.
For the first time since the early 90s, we have a govt that dare to press a reset button on those institutions of drains, following through carefully, though strategically & silently, identifying these drains & sealing them one after another. This is the govt of @MBuhari.
Those pipes were the ones that contribute to our artificial growth, but also with high inflation that over time affected most of us. We all thought that we are better off 1999-2015, but it was clear to me, after investigation, that we were living in a bubble as a nation.
Unfortunately, when President @MBuhari was sworn in as the new leader of Nigeria, his attempt to press a reset button busted the bubble & lo & behold, we got into recession in 2016, that created an unbearable hardship to fellow citizens. The consequence we still feel today.
Blocking of those drain pipes by creating a new path of transparency, probity & accountability, to me is more important for the Nigerian Youth, than continuing the previous method of racketeering, secrete money diversions & rampant corruption that threatens to destroy our country
Naturally, pressing on reset button requires going back to default, reboot and have a refreshed system where few services are running, the system resources are not overburdened, and the machine can be faster in responsiveness to result & output.
What I found out, was this is the reason why we fell into recession, have a lot of job losses and economic turmoil, but interestingly, the graph is turning to the positive slope and with infrastructure investment etc, the govt is on the right track.
The responsibility to deliver this outcome is not an easy one. The systems were created by the generals, and I believe it will be better to allow a general @MBuhari to confront his fellow generals in this battle between the New Order and the Old Order for the Nigerian State.
Fellow Nigerians, We have already invested a priceless 3.5 years bearing the burden. It is only wise enough to bear a while & give the current administration of President @MBuhari under the @APCNigeria our trust & confidence so that our country, Nigeria can be refreshed for us.
Presidential Candidate of the @OfficialPDPNig @atiku is a very excellent person Providence has been kind to him and he was blessed with human and material capital. As a responsible father, he trained his children to be a great asset to our country. He deserves our respect & love.
I'll continue to love, respect & value @atiku for his astute desire to #GetNigeriaWorkingAgain. However, on the notes highlighted above, based on my findings after an investigation, I choose continuity, I go for @APCNigeria, I prefer the #NextLevel. I Urge us all to consider that
To our supporters, our team members with whom we shared our only desire as the greatness of this country, for the 2019 election, let's be patient and continue to support @APCNigeria and President @MBuhari & @ProfOsinbajo administration.
In my state, Adamawa, I will support the government of @APCNigeria under Gov. Bindow Umaru Jibrilla. In all states, I will support @APCNigeria. As a youth, I believe our future is better Protected under the Presidency of @MBuhari and @ProfOsinbajo.

Sai Baba!

I love you all.
