Cohen is pleading guilty to charge of lying to Congress related to his statements about the project to build a Trump Tower in Moscow, a source directly familiar with the matter tells @NBCNews, as he misrepresented the scope and length of his involvement.

After new Cohen plea today, President Trump asserts that Cohen is lying to get a reduced sentence, and he decided not to do the Moscow project, but there would have been "nothing wrong" if he did do it because "that was my business."
In rebuttal to Cohen plea, Trump lawyer Giuliani says that Cohen is "a proven liar who is doing everything he can to get out of a long-term prison sentence."

Hes spent more than 70 HOURS w Mueller. Has no cooperation agreement. He has talked all things Trump and Russia, including his involvement with Moscow Trump Tower.

He has the goods..recordings, documents, receipts all of it. This is a 1st step.
Very important :

Michael Cohen's interviews with Mueller's team have also been attended in part by federal prosecutors in SDNY AND by lawyers from the NYAGs office, who are investigating the Trump Family's Foundation.
