I am waiting for the wing nuts to say that I —and 18 USC 208 — are misogynist for attributing to a public official the financial interests of her husband. In this case he’s a coal billionaire, as she mouths off about “both sides” of the climate change debate.

Let’s just call it
“Fossil Fuel Feminism.”
Goes along well with
“Hedge Fund Feminism” .....etc.

I ran into this as White House ethics lawyer.
Question: “When we have so many two career couples these days, why are you the ethics lawyer always talking about my spouse’s career and assets?”
Answer: “Because the law talks about it. 18 USC 208.”

18 USC 208 exempts the President, Vice President and Members of Congress. That is wrong. Most comply anyway but a handful of senators, a few dozen representatives and @realDonaldTrump refuse to divest. We need to change the law and boot them all out!

Another example of misogyny:
Telling @realDonaldTrump that hiring his own daughter to work in the White House is nepotism, questioning what she actually does there, and then making fun of her for using the wrong email server. “Lock her up!”

@realDonaldTrump Also I was making fun of her and her nice husband Jared for wanting to make a little side money in Russia, China and the Middle East. That was very misogynistic of me. My apologies to Ivanka and her nice Daddy @realDonaldTrump
