Tells you everything you need to know about those people nostalgic for the white ruling class that they never mention the current crisis we're in, the current crises we're suffering, the sham democracy and our eroding state of being are all a result of the white ruling class.
They like to weave this story as if everything was great because they themselves were so well-served by the old order, but what we're seeing with declining health care and wealth and the opioid crisis and institutionalized racism is all the end-product of that stewardship.
Not to mention the rise of the corporate state where our entire country is tied to a volatile market that serves no one but the wealthy and ensures all laws and government are dedicated to serving their whims and interest. Again, this is the result of the white ruling class.
It's just unreal how often these pundits and politicians and supposedly deep thinkers continue to confuse their own wellbeing and preferred reality with the actual history and development of what has transpired in this country.
What they're nostalgic for is a kinder faced white supremacy that knows how to hide itself in public behind niceties and manners. A white supremacy that kowtows to the interests of the affluent but still disavows the neo-Nazis they secretly depend on. They want the old product.
