Mansour al-Adani, a teacher in Sanaa, was arrested by Houthis in August 2015 after a mix-up with a suspect with a similar name. “They said it’s a mistake and they will release me,” al-Adani said. Instead, he was held for two years. His mother had a stroke and died.

Yahya Haig, School Principal, was held and tortured by Houthis in an ancient castle in Hodeida. "Before they hang you, they tell you to do a specific exercise, to make you tired and feel the pain more. They ask you to sit down and stand up for 1,000 or 2,000 times."
