I will never, ever order from Drs. Foster and Smith @DFSpets again! Their website massively screwed up and as a result my order was shipped to an address I haven't lived at for over 15 years... and they won't reship or refund the order.
This seems to have been caused by allowing the user to login at the end of placing an order, to "associate" the order with the account. I had tried to do this but didn't really expect the login to work since it was so old. And all I got was an error screen so didn't think it had.
When my order which included vaccines and included air shipping didn't arrive, I checked my gmail for the order confirmation, to find I'd only gotten the one from PayPal.
Went on their site and entered my old login to find this VERY old address and an email account that doesn't even work anymore. So for them to try and claim that they didn't do anything wrong and I *purposely* entered this old information defies all logic.
Being a web developer myself and doing ecommerce sites in particular, I know how challenging it can be to determine what to do when a user logs in... when to replace their cart with a previous one, when to pull in the address data, etc.
Clearly they screwed up how this particular function works such that instead of using all the information I entered during checkout, it wiped it all out and replaced it with the account data.
So keep this in mind if you are thinking about ordering from them. If they screw up the programming on their website and your order is messed up as a result, they will blame YOU for it and you will be out the money you paid for an order you never receive. @DFSpets
Of course, I will be disputing this with PayPal and/or my credit card company, but the fact that they refused to make this right on their own tells me everything I need to know about them as a company and whether I would use them ever again.
