Last week's sentencing memo for Flynn made clear that he has been talking to Mueller about his call to the Russian ambassador. A lot of it was redacted, but, I'm pretty sure Trump didn't just want Comey to drop the investigation because Flynn was a good guy. Flynn knew something.
(I'm on page 152/235, not a lot of news.. The initial allegation in the FBI's counterintelligence operation into the Trump campaign's potential coordination with Russia had nothing to do with the Steele dossier, but was related to information that George Papadopolous conveyed)
OK here we go; "mid October, maybe a little bit later, Mr. Giuliani was making statements that appeared to be based on his knowledge of workings inside the FBI New York." "So I asked that it be investigated."

Nobody has been held accountable, but the investigation ultimately led to disciplining of FBI Deputy Director McCabe because he had apparently authorized communications about a pending investigation of the Clinton Foundation. Comey never got a report because he was fired.

The rest is mostly Republicans whining about Hillary's emails. Comey has agreed to return for a follow-up hearing on Monday, the 17th of December. What an absolute waste of time.
