First off, we have asked about people’s attitudes on pre-existing condition protections for the past several months and we consistently find that a majority say it is “very important” to them that the ACA’s provisions protecting those with #prex conditions remain law 
We find this even when we include language about how this has increased costs for some healthy people.
Also last month we found majorities saying that “if” the ACA was ruled unconstitutional, they would support state action on this.
Why is this important? Our surveys find about six in ten Americans live in a house with someone with a pre-existing condition. files.kff.org/attachment/Top…
