Charges against two former Flynn associates, Bijan Kian & Ekim Alptekin, were unsealed on Mon in an Alexandria, VA courtroom. The men were charged w/conspiracy to violate federal lobbying rules & Alptekin was charged w/making false statements to the FBI.

Mr. Flynn and Mr. Kian also commissioned a lengthy dossier titled “Fethullah Gulen: A Primer for Investigators,” which was written by Thomas Neer, a former F.B.I. agent.
Mr. Alptekin is a Turkish businessman close to President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey who helped finance the project.

Here's a breakdown of the DOJ indictments against Flynn partners, Bijan Kian and Ekim Alptekin, including some comments that Alptekin made to me back after I started reporting on all of this two years ago. dailycaller.com/2018/12/17/mic… @dailycaller
Long story short, Kian and Alptekin worked covertly at the direction of the Turkish government to secure Fethullah Gulen's extradition. They engaged in an $80,000 kickback scheme. Flynn knew that Turkish officials were being briefed on the project, but he is not charged.
Here is one of the main email exchanges I had on March 8, 2017 with Ekim Alptekin. He falsely denied having anything to do with the infamous Flynn op-ed. He denied receiving a kickback. He falsely claimed he did not arrange UNGA meeting.
