Interesting how things get twisted around irrespective of time, place and reality to always blame a small segment of the Maltese population. 1/
They’ve been given many names: “holier than thou”, “establishment”, “elites”, “the people that place flowers”, etc but it all boils down to populism & fascism.

The aim? Eviscerate and divide any form of reasoned opposition. 2/
The actors? Look no further than those with an interest in the status quo such as people who in a functioning country & democracy would be behind bars. Aided and abetted by some actors (literally) manipulating people and playing a very dirty double game 3/
Some more as the narrative slowly gets dictated and moves along in the intended direction 4/
Wheel out the “no to EU” guy: independent.com.mt/articles/2018-… to cement that it’s now “political retribution” 5/
Clear scripts & hilariously cross-party collaboration 6/
And finally the narrative gets co-opted by none other than the leader of the opposition. 7/

Roughly 66% of @TheTimesofMalta poll respondents think that we need to see the back of @adriandeliapn.

That’s also ignoring worse such as being under investigation for money laundering and generally being insolvent (he calls it cash poor). 1/
But what Adrian needs to do, and it will take a real friend to tell him this, is to go back to being a parent. A real one. I will not upload a copy of the relevant videos making the rounds out of respect for the kids but this one (screenshot) is by far the most disturbing. 2/
Ignoring the knife, the picture one gets is that not only have the kids lost all respect for their visibly drunk father but cower from expected hits & covertly film to report him whether to the other parent or to grandparents.

Not a pretty sight. Pathetic really. 3/

Time to state the obvious. The Bundy family is only in it for the Bundy family. Always have been.

They've now dropped the militia world because they no longer need it to get what they want.

They use their religion as cover for getting what they want.
Cliven Bundy was willing to have hundreds of strangers take up guns, point them at feds, and risk being killed while he sat with his body guards in a comfy SUV on the hill and watched his cattle come home.
The Bundy standoff organizers used kids as human shields on 4/12/14 but Ryan Bundy told his wife to keep their own kids far away from Bunkerville, because it was going to get dangerous.

It’s so strange, because in some ways, I feel like my life is picking up where it left off back in middle school. Those years were the years where it was most prominently drilled into my head that I either choose “this specific version of God they tell me about” or “myself.”
Those were the years I first developed feelings for girls, realized I loved wearing nerdy t-shirts & the color black, poured my soul into videogames & Internet forums & writing. Those were also the years my life was youth group & obsessing over scripture & the Holy Spirit.
And man. It was a hot mess. I’ll never forget how tragically conflicted I became. It felt like the deepest parts of who I was seemingly contradicted layers upon layers of the belief system (and therefore the God) that I held dearest to my zealous, blissfully naïve heart.

Many times we decide to do something, or that something is right, on the basis of too little information.
Often this leads to wasted time, wasted money, wasted energy and wasted confidence. Not to mention being wrong, disappointed or even dead.
Obviously we are not omniscient, able to know everything that happens everywhere. But we can observe the things around us, and we can read.
