The Gandhis did a lot for India but no one could see it because there was no electricity. Now that Modi has electrified all households, it will backfire on him completely.
Modi's short-sighted toilet-building spree has resulted in a huge drop in the supply of organic manure to India's farms. This has led to the massive agrarian crisis which is rocking Delhi today.
No one is connecting the dots. But Rahul will soon do it.
Modi's arrogant decision to force citizens to use LPG has taken away the livelihood of millions of children who spent a good time of their day looking for firewood. This has created an unprecedented pressure on the education system
No one is talking about this.

Anti-racism 101. A thread.
#1. If a BIPOC person criticizes whiteness or white people, they’re talking about the construct of whiteness, white supremacy, white supremacist behaviour & institutions. If you & others don’t do the thing described, DO NOT go “not all white people”. They know it’s not all of us.
#2. Systemic racism. The institutions (e.g. police, law courts, schools), behaviours, societal assumptions, discrimination, lack of representation in media, stereotypes, and other systems that oppress BIPOC people.

I didn't watch Trump's speech, but what's striking about the transcript of that passage is the framing, and what's omitted.
There's no mention of any discussion of adoption, of what happened to the baby's birth mother, of where she is now. Her agency, her continuing existence, is erased.
