Interesting fact of the day: both John Quincy Adams (Christian Unitarian) and Franklin Pierce (Anglican) when were sworn in as presidents did so using a book of law to represent the Constitution:

The Bible tradition is only a tradition for some, never a rule. Nothing new with people not using it when swearing for the 116th Congress today.

And this is one amazing fact of America: despite the majority of people being from a giving faith, the country protects religious freedom like no-other on Earth! Yes, there are people saying stupid things and creating false litmus tests, but they are just wrong.
The American experiment is about an ordered framework for liberty where people are free to conduct their lives as they see please as long as they do not invade someone else's (negative) rights. That is amazing. And that should be celebrated every day.
