I have observed that too many young Nigerians don't know much about their country.

So I decided to remind us of certain key details about Nigeria.

Nigeria is made up of 6 geo-political zones. 3 are in the South; 3 in the North.

There are 17 states in the South& 19 in the northern part. They add up to be the 36 states in Nigeria

Hausas &Fulanis mostly occupy the North while Yorubas& Igbos are the major tribes in the South

*North:

The 3 geo-political zones are North-West (7 states including prominent ones like Kaduna, Katsina, Kano);

North-East (6 states- Borno, Adamawa, Gombe are popular);

and North Central (6 states including Kwara, Plateau, Kogi).

South:
Southwest (6 states with prominent ones like Lagos, Ogun, Oyo). It's the home of *Yorubas* .

Southeast (5 states including Imo, Enugu, Anambra). The *Igbos* are primarily here.

South-south (6 states including Delta, Edo, Rivers). *Ijaws* are the major tribe here.

Nigeria has over 350 tribes& 500 languages. It's the biggest black nation in the world.

Population-- Hausas are the largest, followed by Yorubas, then Igbos, Fulanis, Ibibio& Kanuri.

NG should be the giant of Africa, but there's a missing link: Docile citizens, bad leaders.

To become the president of Nigeria, you must win in 4 of the 6 geo-political zones. Realistically, you must win in the Northwest& Southwest (zones with the largest population).

You now understand why PMB can't joke w/ Tinubu. Southwest determines who becomes the (next) president

*Fun Facts:

Yorubas are the white-collar-job guys; the 8am-4pm freak. Love parties/celebration.

Igbos are the business guys. They can turn around the destiny of #1000.

Hausas/Fulanis are the political guys and farmers. They know how to get to the top with speed.
