seen a few soft murmurings about the idea that the made, the making, and the maker includes the made-for.
that's good. if the idea doesn't work, let's change it so it does.

i do want to toss some grist into the mill that might have impact.
in some of what i'm seeing, "children" could easily be substituted for "made-for". as in, "think of the *chiiiiiildren*". others are a tad more hard-nosed, if not quite mercenary about it: they say "made-for" and they think "paid-by".

a formulation i'm trying out today: "my agility is an autopoietic community centered around the triple balancing of the made, the making, and the makers."
there's odd terms in it, and also missing ones, so i feel like pushing it around a little out loud.
obviously, the least ordinary term there is the a-word. autopoeisis is literally "self creation", and when i say that, i say "well why use a big fancy word," and the answer is: because the literal meaning doesn't quite capture the concept.

there's an old joke: policeman comes across a drunk crawling around under a streetlamp, asks him what's up. drunk says he lost his car keys. so the cop helps him look for a while . . .
. . . but no luck, so the cop asks him, "where's your car, sir?" and the guy points off in the dark. cop says, well, why are we looking over here, when your car is over there?

drunk says, "well, because the light's better here."
there are folks who would have you believe that the software development movement we're a part of is about what i call broadly "method": structure, process, technique, rules, definitions, steps, algorithms.

If Success Rate is 0.5 and Reward Risk 2, Then

Expectancy = 2 x 0.5 =1

For Making Profit, Expectancy Should Be Positive Number (2/n)
To Calculate Expectancy, You Need Defined System With Rules To Get Success Rate and Reward Risk. If You Have No System To Take Decisions, You Are Hanging In Thin Air and Will Never No Whether You Will Keep Making Or Loosing Money In Future (3/n)

#New PA cong. map increases D chance of winning the House majority by 4%. They only need a 6.8% generic ballot margin now (down from 7.7) to be favored.

Diff. will be closer to 10% in Nov when uncertainty from polls is ⬇️. Redraw is a very big deal.

One major reason the new PA map is such a big gain for Democrats is that it solidifies, not just tips, PA districts in Philly burbs. Also creates one additional vulnerable R district. (Easily seen in this map made by @JMilesColeman)
My forecasting model will have new PA map in the near future. This is not just a simple switch; it’s a coding redesign, restructuring of input, & drawing new geographic files. Takes a while (for me, a student).
