One more dump from my last couple hours in #Fallout4.

I know I said I was going for Cait next, but her Perk is... kind of shit. SO, Deacon. Which means joining the Railroad, which I was gonna do anyway, so.
My Charisma at this point is 12 outta 10 (naturally maxed, got the bobblehead, & I walk around in a newsboy cap), so while he tries to lie to me CONSTANTLY, he never gets away with it.

"I'm a synth, ya know." Da'fuq outta here w/that.

Anyway, here he is in the duds I gave him.
I went the lore-friendly route and gave him lots of anonymity-enabling gear, like goggles and a bandanna. I figured he'd like that.
In case you've never played it, one of the main conundrums in Fallout 4 is basically "Where Do You Draw The Line On What Is Human." Synths are synthetic people, but extremely passable ones; you literally can't distinguish a synth from a (ahem) wild-type without cutting one open.
They bleed, they feel, they have self-esteem issues. :V And a lot of them don't even know they're synths.

I actually sat and thought about this for awhile, but in the end, I figured they're human enough for me. So, I joined the Railroad to help Synths escape The Institute.
A lot of folks in-game ain't crazy about synths, even hate and fear them, but that's primarily because The Institute, the creators of synths, uses them to spy on, and replace, humans. But shit, that's not the synths' fault. They have no say.

We can't choose our parents, amirite.
ANYWAY: Meanwhile, back in Sanctuary, my collection grows.

I used to ignore power armor; now, when I find it, I put it on, bring it home, and leave it here. I didn't care about it at all, until I read you can mod it to fly??? SO, that'll be a future project.
And I have a new close-quarters gun. It's a Railway Rifle; it fires railroad spikes. And it literally choo-choos when you reload it.

Here's a gal who got The Message. When you shoot someone with this, not only can you see the spike in their corpse, but re-collect the ammo!
Still primarily snipin', tho. God Ray Mk II doesn't have the raw power output of The Message, but its damage is pretty much always doubled because I'm sneaking when I fire it. And when I win Deacon's Perk, I'll be one-shotting EVERYTHING UNDER THE SUN.
