1. I took another look at the DOJ Special Counsel Reg. Everyone is obsessing on a report. I could care less. Here's why:
§ 600.6 Powers and authority.

2. her jurisdiction, the full power and independent authority to exercise all investigative and prosecutorial functions of any United States Attorney. Except as provided in this part, the Special Counsel shall determine whether and to what extent to inform or consult with
3. the Attorney General or others within the Department about the conduct of his or her duties and responsibilities."

So Bobby Muller can tell Billy Bar to mind his own business. Anything Barr does to interfere with Mueller will land Barr in prison. 😎

1, Reviewed GOP who voted with Dems: Of eleven @SenateGOP who voted to keep Deripaska sanctions, six run in 2020. Three of them are on the Senate Intel committee. Plus Rubio (2016). Found it interesting both AR Senators joined, plus the freshmen Haley from MO & McSally AZ.
2. I think @maddow was a bit incredulous when she pitched the idea to @SenGillibrand that these eleven were a hopeful sign. I'm a glass half full person. If they have indeed had epiphanies, we need eight more to convict and remove Pres. Trump.
3. I'm looking at the other five GOP on the Intel committed as possibles. The one thing about a criminal conspiracy, If 2016 are, as my investigation shows, likely targets, full renunciation is the only way to cut off conspiracy liability. Rubio & Kennedy only 2016 cycle w/ Dems.

1. I have to concede I'm getting weary of everyone in a tizzy about Bill Barr being able to conceal Mueller findings from Congress. Fact is DOJ regs require him to tell Congress about a final report. If they don't act we're doomed anyway. The way Mueller can avoid allowing Barr
2. to block the public from knowing what Trump did is the same as in Nixon and in now pending SDNY case: Include the POTUS as an unindicted co-conspirator and file the indictments in the clear. He's already done it with Cohen so I see no reason to expect he won't do it again.
3. Another pet peeve of mine is the fact that most legal experts appear to have not read the plea deals that have been requiring cooperation with law enforcement authorities other than the US DOJ. Unless we're turning Trump over to ICC that means the States. And his pardon can't

3. Three interesting @GOP Yes votes. Rubio Moran Kennedy. @GOP in 2016 cycle. If smart they went to @FBIWFO and told them everything they know about 2016 Russian money. Make Mueller more inserted in the other ones. And now they are voting like loyal Americans. Possible.

Even though the Mueller team has 16 or 17 attorneys dedicated full-time, we should all recognize that there are actually many more #DOJ attorneys helping the investigation as part of their day-to-day jobs, particularly from DOJ’s DC Criminal Division. /1 washingtonpost.com/news/post-nati…
