1, Reviewed GOP who voted with Dems: Of eleven @SenateGOP who voted to keep Deripaska sanctions, six run in 2020. Three of them are on the Senate Intel committee. Plus Rubio (2016). Found it interesting both AR Senators joined, plus the freshmen Haley from MO & McSally AZ.
2. I think @maddow was a bit incredulous when she pitched the idea to @SenGillibrand that these eleven were a hopeful sign. I'm a glass half full person. If they have indeed had epiphanies, we need eight more to convict and remove Pres. Trump.
3. I'm looking at the other five GOP on the Intel committed as possibles. The one thing about a criminal conspiracy, If 2016 are, as my investigation shows, likely targets, full renunciation is the only way to cut off conspiracy liability. Rubio & Kennedy only 2016 cycle w/ Dems.
4. Burr was both in 2016 cycle and is the Intel comm chair which means he knows stuff the other don't. Right now about 15 in the 2016 class are still are firmly on #TeamRussia. But to save their own skin I'm betting a few might consider voting as a sign of renunciation.
5. @SpeakerPelosi @SenSchumer should hold the line. But they also should be ready to move fast to put an impeachment vote to the House floor with managers ready to try the case in the Senate. @RepJeffries @RepSwalwell are two who I would appoint.
6. When it's time to impeach @SpeakerPelosi will know it. And the time may come very soon. Mueller's speaking indictments can be delivered with the exhibits. Think of it like a TRO hearing. Short notice to address irreparable harm. It's one procedure we can force in the Senate.
