The "youthful indiscretions" of most of us do not involve acting like overprivileged sociopaths, my dude.
Those kids knew there were cameras. They were proud of this. If you truly believe kids deserve second chances, you should be GRATEFUL it went viral, which led to societal pushback that said "you shouldn't do this, it's shitty." Their parents apparently aren't teaching them that.
Peer groups are definitely powerful, but parents abdicating responsibility for a secondary role in "damage control" is ridiculous.
