I was privately contacted by a different parent of a Catholic Covington student who was doxxed and harassed online despite not even being on the trip. Another parent told me they received calls and texts harassing them bc their kid appeared in the video.
These people are evil.

I hope the people, especially in the media, who helped stir up the outrage mob (& have mostly refused to correct it) based on the lies of an activist and a misleading video are proud of themselves. You really showed those kids and their families.
I know i've posted a million tweets about this already, but I have one more thought:
Why would the national media let the activist convince them to report on an interaction with HS kids, EVEN IF original narrative was correct?

and yes, that's rhetorical. Everyone knows that there is 0 chance this would be a story if they hadn't been wearing hats that these journalists don't like.
Same journalists ignored the video of adults screaming racial and homophobic slurs at the kids.
