This stuff kills me. My 2014 @UpshotNYT on authenticity discourse and the terrible coverage and commentary it generates: "all politicians are strategic about the image and behaviors they present to voters. Some just hide the artifice better than others." nytimes.com/2015/10/02/ups…
@UpshotNYT AOC is strategic! Beto is strategic! They are calculated in their "authenticity" and good at playing that role. No one should fool themselves about this.
