There's a clearer picture now of ex-FBI counsel James Baker's interactions with Michael Sussmann of Perkins Coie (the firm that hired Fusion GPS). Sussmann gave Baker info server activity between Alfa Bank and Trump businesses. dailycaller.com/2019/01/22/jam… @dailycaller
Sussmann was also in contact with NYT and Slate, which published an article laying out the allegations of a secret back channel, which have been refuted by computer experts.
It shows that the Fusion-Steele-Perkins Coie entity tried to push Trump-Russia dirt through a bunch of different channels -- media, FBI, DOJ's Bruce Ohr, State Dept.
Baker told Congress last year that he took Sussmann's intel seriously because he was DNC lawyer and because they worked together at DOJ

I differentiate BuzzFeed as a company from individual reporters who've been fired. A lot of them are excellent reporters who've done important work. They should have jobs in the industry, and I really hope they find them.
Not as much love lost for the company as a whole though since their editor in chief called my company "trash" and probably wouldn't piss on us if we were on fire.
Ben Smith told Facebook execs that they shouldn't work w/ Daily Caller. What he was essentially pushing for was less revenue, fewer jobs, and worse for the company I work for.

Corsi is saying he is now confident he won't be indicted, because indicting him would make him a bad witness. But Friday's indictment doesn't cite any of what Corsi told the grand jury about Roger Stone. It only quotes his emails. dailycaller.com/2019/01/27/rog…
The indictment doesn't cite any of what Corsi told the grand jury, which, if true, would get much closer to a conspiracy charge for Stone. Corsi claimed Stone asked him to create cover story for Podesta tweet and asked him to contact Wikileaks ahead of Access Hollywood tape.
None of that is mentioned in the indictment. Mueller could file a superseding indictment down the road, or perhaps he views Corsi as an unreliable witness.

What Isikoff doesn't say is that Stone sent this over-the-top email to Credico after Credico gave an interview to Isikoff in which Credico has claimed he lied. Credico said in an interview he "bamboozled" Isikoff and gave him doctored emails.
Here's Credico in an interview mocking @isikoff and saying he gave him "disinformation" for his book, "Russian Roulette." He said he "put together phony emails" to give to Isikoff.
Isikoff invited Credico to the White House Correspondent's Dinner two months later.

Stop right there, this is a push pin to start a timeline, completely ignoring the fact that multiple FISA warrant havd already been in place prior to this point in time on members of the @realDonaldTrump WHY?
For those not keeping up, yes I said multiple FISAs, though we haven't seen them, rest assured they exist. We have seen @carterwpage FISA, but he wasn't the only one. My guess is Papadopoulos, Manafort, & @GenFlynn. The are strictly speculation on my part, but that's my gut..
