Just picked up an email from member of @JennieGenSec team at Labour HQ. They received my email last night and are making the petition available to all NEC members in time for meeting on Tuesday

I also asked for special conference to be on agenda for Tuesday. Nothin on that yet

We’re on our way to Labour HQ already. So we can talk about getting it on the agenda when we get there

Basically Labour Party rules for member engagement on policy are not fit for an unprecedented political crisis with short deadline. Rules are *preventing* members leading policy

Here’s example of even more grassroots activity. If what we were told today is true, this is more wasted effort and emphasises that, at this time of unprecedented political crisis, Labour rules/procedures are PREVENTING members influencing policy
