We respect @jeremycorbyn as the democratically-elected leader of @uklabour. But if he asked us to stop the campaign, we would NOT. Sorry.

We have had to wait 18 months for our #OpenSelection motion to be debated at #LabourConference and will not pull out now.
Our campaign is for Labour members to have a democratic vote on the BEST Labour candidate for their seat. Every election.

It's not about a 'purge' - it's about a principle.

Before Corbyn's sit-down with mainstream Jewish organisations today to discuss the problem of antisemitism in Labour. I thought it might be good to have a look back at his lieutenants who went out of their way to try & dismiss this very real issue over the last 2 years.

1) Let's start with Seumas Milne, Corbyn's Executive Director of Strategy and Communications. Here he is on Russia Today (of course) with his good friend George Galloway, talking about how "they're trying to smear Corbyn by association with antisemitism"

2) Next up we have Diane Abbott, one of Corbyn's closest political allies, appointed Shadow Home Secretary by him.

(Thread) To all @UKLabour candidates in the upcoming May local elections:

Unfortunately I will not be able to vote for you as a representative of the Labour Party; this is despite having been a #Labour voter myself in the past. Please allow me to explain briefly my reasons why.
After the sacking of Owen Smith, I cannot vote for @UKLabour in any shape or form at the moment due to Jeremy Corybn's approach towards #Brexit which I view as highly undemocratic and contradictory to what the Labour party is meant to stand for ("for the many, not the few"?).
The attitude towards #Brexit by @jeremycorbyn and other hardcore Brexiteers like him really is now bordering on the fascist, something I find deeply disturbing. It seems that dissenters are being crushed.

The noises coming out of #Labour on racism towards Jews (let us call it that) are increasingly hollow.
Let's not even talk about the 1000s of oddballs in & around Labour, who rant on about "Zionists", etc like UKIPers talk about "immigrants", but we know where both are pointing.

One is profiled here in detailed (& mostly ignored by Labour "radicals")
