Roger Stone is live on Alex Jones's show, because sure, and says "they could have just contacted my attorneys" to turn himself in. He says, "It was meant to intimidate me, but I am not intimidated." Jones then tells him to hold on and runs some ads in which Jones is screaming.
”They would like me to plead guilty to charges that are completely bogus," Stone tells Alex Jones, saying this is all "politically motivated" and there is "no collusion."
Stone: ”There is no circumstance under which I would plead guilty to these charges” or “bear false witness against the president.”
One possible reason for this phone call to Alex Jones: Stone just gave people the web address for his legal defence fund, saying he needs the money help for his big fight, in which he will not surrender under any circumstances.
Stone with another reference to his need for money: “As long as I have a breath in my body and a dollar to pay a lawyer, I’m going to fight.”
Asked what his direct message is to the president, Stone repeats that there is no collusion and adds, “I think I’m being persecuted for being a 40-year friend and supporter of his.”
Stone is apparently coming back after the commercial break involving Jones shouting about supplements and touting a good price on "the very best fish oil."
Jones bragged that Stone is talking to him instead of the mainstream media. Then Stone went totally silent and Jones said, "I've been surprised if they didn't break into it and cut it off." He didn't say who "they" were.
Yeah, this phone call is about money. Stone again gives the website of his legal defence fund and says he needs $2 million: "I need people’s help more than ever.” Jones then asks people to go to the InfoWars store and buy his own products. These people.
Jones asks Stone to tell the story of the raid one more time; Stone goes silent again; Jones says, “There’s no doubt they’re going in and dropping the phone. All these phones are tapped.” That seems to be it.
Stone, now speaking to a large media crew outside the court, says of Trump, “I am one of his oldest friends. I am a fervent supporter of the president.” Trump usually distances himself from anyone indicted, so Stone is making it slightly harder.
Asked, I believe, if he thinks Trump will pardon him, Stone says the only person he has advocated a pardon for is Marcus Garvey. (He has indeed advocated a pardon for Marcus Garvey.) thedailybeast.com/roger-stone-en…
